The Flood - Noahic Covenant

James 5:16
Rev. Felton Patrick Christian was born in Los Angles, California. In 1963, Patrick (as he is affectionately known) accepted Christ as his personal Savior at eight years of age. Reverend Christian is the husband of Rev. Dr. Barbara Christian for more than 35 years. He is the honored father of three children and three grandchildren. After a first attempt to complete college circumstances dictated his taking a job as a janitor to support his family, he remained in the employment of that same company for 25 years. During his earlier tenure with the company He also volunteered his time working with Inner City Youth in the city of Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, and the Amateur Athletic Union as a basketball coach. Additionally Patrick spent 12 years bringing the Word of God behind prison walls at the Chino Institution for Men & the Heman G. Starks youth facility in Chino California. After raising his children Rev. Christian returned to school where he completed his G.E.D. and went on to finish up his education at BIOLA University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Apologetics. In June 1989 Patrick joined the Friendship Baptist Church of Yorba Linda California; after five years as a member his passion for teaching was reignited and he started teaching Sunday School, a ministry that initially started at Greater True Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles CA at the age of 20. He continues to teach the Word at Friendship Baptist Church in Yorba Linda, CA. Reverend Felton Patrick Christian accepted God’s calling to the gospel ministry on June 11, 2003. He is still a faithful and active member. He currently serves as an Associate Minister, Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher and as a part time staff member in the capacity of Outreach Coordinator. During his time there he also served as Superintendent of Sunday School and as a Deacon. His passion is teaching the Word of God and his favorite passage of scripture is II Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed rightly diving the word of truth.”
In 2008 God planted the idea of a ministry that would be committed to Him and his word. As I prayed God answered my prayer by calling me to reflect upon His presence in my life as he prepared me for this endeavor. In His still quite voice he said, 'You have spent these many years learning a trade from the bottom up; one that involved cleaning office buildings and engaging people.
It is time for you to employ what you have learned to help clean up the distortion and error in the teaching and application of my word.' As I continued to reflect, it became clear to me the purpose of my choice of academic discipline.
Significant to me in this regard is Romans 8:28, "all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."

Living Life 6 Mile Walk - The name was selected to reflect and remind us of the day God created man (the sixth day) to live life on the Earth. He instructed us too subdue it and to have dominion over it; not it over us. The mile represent the measure of that life and walk is descriptive of how we live our life. In all facets we are call to live it unto Him.

Origins answer the question, “Where did this all begin?” Where did the universe come from and how did it come to be. Where did the earth, life, human and all other forms come from?
Over the centuries many theories and truth claims have been presented and argued as fact surrounding this question. Most of us have at least heard the two basis claims; evolution and creation and some have tried to argue that both are true. Out of this discussion a great deal of confusion has manifested and continues to lead many in the world population to ask if science is superior to Faith or is faith superior to science. It has shaped for some and clouded for others a world view that is inconsistent with moral responsibility. This paper is not intended to settle the argument (although in my mind it has been settled) but to call attention to the importance of settling it in your own mind. What a person believes about the origin of life vastly impacts how they view the world, and value life.
The basic meaning of Evolution is development; scientifically it means the common belief that all living things evolved by natural processes from earlier and more simple forms of life. It holds that the entire process including the origin of the universe and the first life form occurred through spontaneous generation. Implications God had nothing to do with the formation of the universe or life; God is therefore nonexistent. There is then no reason to respect human life as special or more valuable than that of an animal or plant. Justification Man is his own authority; my choice is what matters therefore the moral choice to abort a fetus is just in the universe because life is only a spontaneous generation of materials. Application One holding or being influenced by this philosophy would readily conclude the bible has no authority to invoke moral standards. And, there is no God..
